About The Avenue Clinic
Mr Abbas established The Avenue Clinic in 2001 primarily as an Ultrasound Diagnostic Service for women providing the complete range of obstetric scanning procedures, fetal assessment, counselling, and follow-up diagnostic testing. Mr Abbas specialises in Fetal Medicine and the diagnosis of fetal abnormalities. He regularily performs invasive procedures including CVS and Amniocentesis. He is an honorary consultant at The Harris Birthright Centre, Kings College Hospital, London and a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup, Kent.
The clinic also offers full pregnancy care and Mr Abbas delivers privately at The Portland Hospital , London and Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup, Kent.
A "One Stop" Gynaecology Service was introduced recently offering ultrasound scans and consultations. Follow up procedures including surgery can be carried out at Chelsfield Park Hospital, Orpington or Blackheath Hospital, London.
A new ultrasound machine was purchased this year which provides the latest in ultrasound technology including 3D and 4D ultrasound scans.
