Welcome to The Avenue Clinic one of Kent’s leading obstetric and gynaecological scanning clinics. As well as offering a consultant-led specialist scanning service, we can deal with any further treatment required including invasive tests and surgery.
Mr Abbas is a fetal medicine specialist who performs ultrasound scans and screening for fetal abnormalities. He has admission rights at The Portland Hospital for women and children and also delivers at Queen Mary’s NHS Hospital Sidcup, Kent.

Pregnancy Scans: The clinic offers a complete range of ultrasound scanning throughout pregnancy. The clinic is also able to provide on the spot counselling. If a scan shows an increased risk of Downs, a Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) test can be carried out immediately.

Gynaecology: due to the success of the obstetric services and to demand, the clinic now offers a complete "One Stop" Gynaecology service which includes consultations, screening and diagnostic tests. The Avenue Clinic was designed to feel warm and discreet and to reduce anxiety felt by many women with gynaecological complaints
