Reassurance Scan
A scan is not always necessary at this stage of pregnancy but and ultrasound reassurance scan may be done to monitor pregnancy in mothers with any medical condition that may have adverse effects on the unborn baby. You might have one if you have had bleeding or have been unwell. The baby’s head, abdomen, and leg length will be measured, fetal activity, and fetal Doppler as well as the amniotic fluid.
2D images are provided with all baby scans.
